  • Redirecting You...

Two quotes that have stuck in my head recently:

The first was mentioned in Pastor Jon's sermon this past wknd at OriginsNYC:
"Imaginary evil is romantic and varied; real evil is gloomy, monotonous, barren, boring.  Imaginary good is boring; real good is always new, marvellous, intoxicating."
    ~Simone Weil

The second I saw on rdx913's xanga.  Go here.  I'd say that I'm caught in the tension between the quote and LegumeLiz's response.

As for summer writings, I've started it at a new place, just so it all stays together.  http://agentcyan.blogspot.com/  (Updated - 8/24).  And as always, thanks for praying.

  • Wow... I think that quote from your pastor is completely, totally, and wondrously true.  I think it's Dallas Willard that always says the world is upside down and we're all standing on our heads.  The world can be so imaginary and upside down at times, can't it?  Hrm.
  • are you doing fantasy thisyear
  • Hey dude, I'm moving over to using Google Reader exclusively for looking at blog content. Do you mind enabling RSS feeds in your Xanga settings? This way I can see what you write even from other sites.
